Financial Regulation

This area is one in which there is significant ongoing industry and government interest, and where the provision of independent high quality analysis is in demand. The Melbourne Centre’s activities will encourage and stimulate academic research in this area, which has been one of relatively limited activity in Australia. The Melbourne Centre’s activities will complement the work of consultants and industry associations providing research services for industry interests, and build relationships with these groups to improve the quality and level of public debate in this important policy area.
